Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hjalle Heavy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hjalle Heavy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Fedor Mirinova and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawk closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Heavy is trying to get back to full guard.
Heavy is defending against the submission attempts here by Hawk.
Hawk is looking to take a break and control but Heavy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hawk is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Hawk has gone for a leg lock! Heavy slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hawk's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Hjalle Heavy will probably get the nod.

Heavy takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Hawk lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Heavy shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Hawk finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Hawk throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Hawk!
Hawk scores with a decent looking hook.
Hawk throws a right and a left that both miss.
Heavy with a poor takedown
and Hawk counters with a straight right hand.
Hawk fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Heavy sprawls well initially but Hawk persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Heavy wants to control but Hawk is keeping busy.
Hawk is keen to just control but Heavy is a slippery customer.
Hawk looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hawk is tying to control. Heavy wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Heavy is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hawk's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hawk's back!

Hawk rolls, trying to escape but Heavy keeps control of the position.
Heavy is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Hawk knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Hawk for a finish.

Heavy doesn't have the hooks in and Hawk manages to turn into his guard.

Hawk must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Heavy had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hawk is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Heavy Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hawk's back instead.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Heavy has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Hawk has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Hawk darts in and clinches Heavy up against the cage.
Hawk lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Heavy backwards.
Hawk pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Hawk counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Heavy is looking for a triangle but Hawk pushes his legs off easily.

Heavy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hawk can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
