The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bambang lands a nice hook to Maure's body. Maure takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Maure misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Bambang counters with an outside leg kick.
Bambang ducks under a wild hook from Maure.
Bambang scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Maure takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Bambang comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Bambang connects with a right hand. Maure shakes it off.

It looks like Dan Maure has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Maure misses with a looping left.
Bambang avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Maure lands with a nice combination. Bambang backs away looking to recover.

Maure closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bambang's guard.

Bambang working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Maure doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Bambang is tightening it up a little... Maure has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Maure reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Maure taps out! Nice BJJ there by Bambang!
