Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jesus Sanchez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Isarno!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Luis Engracia and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Isarno moves into range and clinches up with Sanchez.

Isarno's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sloppy strikes from Sanchez. Those never looked like landing.

Isarno tries to clinch but Sanchez is having none of it.
Sanchez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Isarno circles away quickly and effectively.
Sanchez is breathing heavily.
Isarno fails with a takedown attempt.
Isarno fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sanchez manages to avoid it.
Isarno uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Sanchez has time to react.
Sanchez gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Sanchez displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Isarno.

Sanchez tries to bum rush Isarno with a series of wild strikes but Isarno uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sanchez throws a body shot but no joy.
Sanchez scores with a hook to the body. Isarno takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Isarno dives in and grabs Sanchez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sanchez pushes down on Isarno's head and hops out.
Jesus Sanchez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Isarno.

Isarno rushes Sanchez and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Isarno manages to break the clinch.
Sanchez misses with the combination.
Isarno lands with a straight right. Sanchez didn't see that one coming.
Sanchez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Good exchange - Isarno coming out on top.

Sanchez avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Oh Sanchez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Isarno missing with a left hand there. Sanchez was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Isarno moves into the clinch.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Isarno manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Isarno has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sanchez can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Isarno looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Isarno will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Isarno is looking for a triangle but Sanchez pushes his legs off easily.
Isarno lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Isarno with a flurry of punches that miss.

Isarno drops back looking for a leg! Sanchez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sanchez manages to kick Isarno off! Isarno jumps back into Sanchez's guard.

Isarno thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Isarno loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Isarno drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Isarno jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Isarno is stalling in the full guard.
Isarno trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Isarno is looking to work some ground and pound but Sanchez has wrist control.
Sanchez seems to have got his legs back now.
Sanchez keeping moving, preventing Isarno from controlling successfully.
Isarno loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Isarno postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Isarno pushes down on Sanchez's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Isarno is working for a kimura but Sanchez is defending it quite comfortably.
Isarno looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Isarno dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Sanchez misses with a few strikes there.
Isarno is looking to clinch but Sanchez is avoiding it.
Sanchez throws a series of punches but Isarno avoids them all with ease.

Sanchez is trying to break the clinch but Isarno is controlling him.
Sanchez wants to get back to striking at distance but Isarno won't allow it.
Sanchez is looking to break free of the clinch but Isarno has double underhooks.
Isarno comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Isarno.
Sanchez tries to circle away but Isarno has him pinned against the cage.
Isarno lands with a right to the head.
Isarno scores with a nice hook to the head.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Isarno dips a shoulder and cracks Sanchez with a mighty uppercut! Sanchez falls back against the cage and Isarno unloads with a barrage of strikes! Sanchez is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Isarno screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Isarno!
