With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jon Stead!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keane throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jon Stead seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Keane bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Keane misses with a head kick.
Keane swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Stead closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Keane wants to get back to his feet.

Keane has one foot on Stead's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Stead tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Keane paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Stead should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

and Stead counters with a takedown into side control.
Keane pushes Stead away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Stead gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Keane explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

and Keane counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Stead thinking.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Stead changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Keane tries to avoid it but Stead manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Keane to the ground. Keane escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Keane thuds his shin into the meat of Stead's side.

Stead tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Keane paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Keane throws a right hand that Stead ducks under and follows up with a left that Stead also avoids with ease.
Keane tries to land a front kick but Stead steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Stead misses with a takedown attempt - Keane sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Keane misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Stead fails with the takedown
and Stead takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Keane tries to bum rush Stead with a series of wild strikes but Stead uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Stead darts in trying to clinch
and Keane counters with a nice body kick.
Stead tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
