Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lyo Wuan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sylvain Sauvage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lyo Wuan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sauvage looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Sauvage tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wuan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sauvage doesn't manage to clinch there - Wuan circles away.
Sauvage is looking to clinch.
Wuan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sauvage as he avoids it easily.

Wuan gets tackled into the cage by Sauvage. Sauvage maintains the clinch.
Wuan is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Sauvage pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Sauvage is trying to trip Wuan. He has hold of a leg but Wuan is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Sauvage persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Sauvage must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Wuan manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sauvage tries to hold on but Wuan postures up.

Wuan looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Wuan wants to control but instead Sauvage manages to regain half guard.
Sauvage tries to get to full guard but Wuan has control of the leg.

Wuan looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Wuan wants to work for an arm triangle but Sauvage is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Wuan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sauvage is just riding it out for now. Wuan eventually gives up the hold.
Sauvage wants to control but Wuan is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wuan is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Sauvage!

Wuan looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Wuan swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Sauvage is now in Wuan's guard. A big mistake from Wuan there, giving up the dominant position!

Sauvage is sitting in close to Wuan's body. Wuan has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Sauvage is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Sauvage is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Wuan.
