Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Urho Tappi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benjamin Koppinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koppinen has chosen Groin kick - Pain time as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Urho Tappi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Urho Tappi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Benjamin Koppinen!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Koppinen tenderised Tappi's leg. Tappi is trying to keep his angry face on.
Koppinen lands a leg kick that knocks Tappi off balance momentarily.
Koppinen just misses with a punch to the body.
Tappi checks a leg kick.
Tappi fails with a takedown attempt.
Tappi fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tappi.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Urho Tappi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tappi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Koppinen but Koppinen pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Tappi takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Tappi wants to take the fight to the mat but Koppinen manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Koppinen creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Tappi is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Koppinen is defending well.

Tappi tries for a takedown but Koppinen manages to get underhooks.

Tappi has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Koppinen after a bit of a struggle.

Koppinen is pressed up against the cage. Tappi has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Koppinen down to the mat. Koppinen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Tappi tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Koppinen defends well and Tappi ends up having to push Koppinen into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Koppinen lands an elbow just above Tappi 's eye.
Koppinen is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Tappi is looking for a takedown.
Koppinen cracks Tappi with a nice body shot.

Tappi changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Koppinen fights it off and pushes away nicely.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Koppinen takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Koppinen gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Oh Tappi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Koppinen is working Tappi over with knees. Oh, he's thrown a big one to the head! Tappi is out! One big shot and it's all over!
