The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Margret changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Padula looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Padula knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Margret on the ground.

Margret had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Padula is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Margret Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Padula's back instead.

Margret is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Padula knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Padula for a finish.

Margret shoots and misses
and Padula counters with a left and a right that stings Margret.
Padula throws a right hand that Margret ducks under and follows up with a left that Margret also avoids with ease.
A nice combination there by Padula.

Padula wants the takedown. Margret is fighting it off but Padula persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Margret's guard against the cage.

Margret pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Padula taps out and this one is all over!
