The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bobby misses with a two punch combination.
Bobby fails to land the takedown.

and Bobby counters with a nice double leg into side control. Grove won't be happy with that.

Grove is looking to work some ground and pound but Bobby has wrist control.
Bobby is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Grove had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bobby is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Grove Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bobby's back instead.

Grove looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Bobby!

Grove pushes Bobby up against the cage in a clinch.

Bobby is trying to break free.
Bobby wants to break free but Grove has control.
Grove unloads a knee to the mid-section. Bobby lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Bobby escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Roberto Bobby is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Grove shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bobby as he jumps to the side.
Bobby has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bobby there as he acknowledges the shot.

Bobby jumps guard and drags Grove to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Grove is trying to maintain the position but Bobby is very close to passing his half guard.

Grove moves into range and clinches up with Bobby.

Kendall Grove showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Bobby's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Grove changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bobby tries to avoid it but Grove manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bobby to the ground. Bobby escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bobby tries to close the distance and clinch but Grove swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bobby keeps the fight on the outside.

Bobby pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Grove avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Grove tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bobby swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Grove slips a jab and a cross from Bobby.
Bobby looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Grove is fending him off so far but Bobby persists. Nope, Grove circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Grove gets control of Bobby's arms and successfully pulls guard. Grove will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
