The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Orange throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Manahan sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Manahan tries to clinch but Orange is having none of it.

Orange feints and as Manahan raises his hands in defense, Orange changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Orange is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Manahan is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Manahan has escaped and now he's on top!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Manahan tries to land a front kick but Orange steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Manahan closes the distance looking to clinch

and Orange holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Manahan throws a knee to the head but misses.
Manahan doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Manahan misses with a short punch on the inside.
Orange avoids the elbow strike from Manahan, against the cage.

Orange is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Manahan has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Manahan!

Orange isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Manahan stacks Orange on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Manahan!

Manahan is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Orange feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
