The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright closes the distance and clinches up with Dos Santos , looking for a takedown. Wright pushes Dos Santos against the cage but Dos Santos circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Dos Santos fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wright throws a hook to the side of Dos Santos 's head but Dos Santos sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
No luck for Wright with that takedown attempt.

Wright shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Wright throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Dos Santos tries to control Wright's body but Wright pushes him off. Dos Santos squirms to his side and now Wright has his back!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wright looking to break Dos Santos 's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Dos Santos remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Wright will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Dos Santos wants to control his opponent's hands but Wright gets his hands free.
Well, with Wright on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Dos Santos is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
Dos Santos has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Wright.

Wright is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Dos Santos is trying to get back to his feet but Wright has full control of the position and if anything, Dos Santos has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Wright has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Dos Santos has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Wright is cranking Dos Santos 's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Dos Santos ! He's tightened the choke and Dos Santos is tapping out!
