The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beast throws a poor cross that misses
and Alexander counters with a stiff right hand.
Beast tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Alexander defends well and Beast ends up having to push Alexander into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Alexander tries to throw a body punch but Beast avoids it by throwing Alexander back against the cage.
Beast lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Alexander backwards.
The referee calls for Beast to work.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Alexander.
Beast lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Alexander.
Alexander struggles to land a body shot inside as Beast controls his hands.
Beast lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Beast makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Beast gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Well, if Beast is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Alexander knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Beast on the ground.
Beast is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Alexander is hurt! He's hurt bad - Beast fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Alexander from any more punishment! Congratulations to Beast! Great finish!
