PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Robbo Audi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Sleigh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Audi rushes Sleigh and presses him up against the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Sleigh takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Sleigh continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sleigh accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sleigh is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Audi is just riding it out for now. Sleigh eventually gives up the hold.

Audi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sleigh tries to avoid it but Audi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sleigh to the ground. Sleigh escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Let's hope that Sleigh has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well Sleigh has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
