PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ragnar Lodbrok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timothy Mcgee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcgee comes into a darkened arena with his song building. McGee kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Timothy Mcgee will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lodbrok has his takedown stuffed
and Mcgee counters with a right hand to the body.
Lodbrok wants to clinch but Mcgee slips to the side
and Mcgee counters with a thumping low kick.
Mcgee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Lodbrok throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mcgee tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lodbrok is in Mcgee's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

That was a close round but I would say that Ragnar Lodbrok will probably get the nod.

Mcgee parries the strikes from Lodbrok easily there. Lodbrok is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Mcgee to escape.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
