Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rei Zulu!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Luis Engracia and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daves wants to clinch.
Zulu shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Daves as he jumps to the side.
Zulu is trying hard to land a takedown here. Daves sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Zulu closes this distance looking for a takedown but Daves circles away.
Ty Daves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rei Zulu.
Zulu rushes Daves and presses him up against the ropes.
Daves putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Zulu in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Zulu takes a knee right on the jaw!
Daves has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Zulu is rocked!
Daves lands a big knee to the head and Zulu goes down! Daves pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!
