The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magamedov leaves Agaev with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Magamedov misses with a wild combination.
Agaev shoots for a takedown but Magamedov saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Agaev closes the distance and clinches up with Magamedov, looking for a takedown. Agaev pushes Magamedov against the cage but Magamedov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anar Agaev. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Agaev gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Magamedov to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Agaev throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Magamedov's waist but Magamedov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Agaev off to one side.

Magamedov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Agaev is looking to stand up but Magamedov isn't so interested in that idea.

Agaev knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Magamedov on the ground.

Magamedov cracks Agaev with a big right hand but Agaev just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Magamedov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Agaev paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Agaev wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Magamedov shoots for a takedown but Agaev saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Agaev wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Magamedov is now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Agaev tries to roll over but Magamedov keeps him under control.

Magamedov stands up and beckons Agaev to join him on the feet.
Agaev is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Magamedov has hold of Agaev's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Agaev manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
