Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Noel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Euler Ribeiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Noel.
Ribeiro misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ribeiro shoots in for a double leg but Noel sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Noel - that will leave a mark!
Ribeiro shoots in for a takedown but Noel shows good takedown defense.

Ribeiro is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Noel pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Noel gets control of Ribeiro's arms and successfully pulls guard. Noel will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Ribeiro got a little sloppy there for a moment and Noel has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ribeiro has managed to get both his arms back between Noel's legs - danger averted.

Noel feints and then cracks Ribeiro's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ribeiro down.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Noel jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ribeiro walks away with a smile on his face. Noel gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Noel darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Noel is taking a breather. Ribeiro says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Noel wants to control but Ribeiro is keeping him busy.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Noel for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Noel feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
