PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dee Nice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shikou Endou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Endou is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Killing in the name of - Rage Against The Machine. Dee Nice had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shikou Endou!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Endou has his takedown stuffed

and Nice counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Nice is in close to Endou's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Endou seems keen to control Nice's posture.
Nice postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Endou has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Endou closes the distance and clinches up with Nice, looking for a takedown. Endou pushes Nice against the cage but Nice circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Endou has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Nice finds it's way round the side to connect with Endou's head.
Shikou Endou seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Endou tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Nice defends well and Endou ends up having to push Nice into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
