PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ferdinand Acevedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Columbo Gatti and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

White drives through and clinches with Acevedo against the cage.
White tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Acevedo gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
White wants to control the position but Acevedo says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
White wants to improve his position but Acevedo is controlling well.
White wants to control but Acevedo is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Acevedo thows a huge punch but White dodges it nicely.
White makes his way to full guard. A much better position for White.

and Acevedo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

White tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Acevedo smiles and moves away.

Acevedo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but White moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Acevedo crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from White - the referee stops the clock and Acevedo gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says White. Acevedo manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Jeff White has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
