Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kato Aspenia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Hecker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hecker has chosen The Ultimate Warrior as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kato Aspenia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jeff Hecker!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hecker has closed the distance and engaged Aspenia in a clinch.

Aspenia shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hecker manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Hecker has his foot on Aspenia's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Aspenia works his way back into a safe position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close round but I would say that Kato Aspenia will probably get the nod.
