Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Theo Atlason!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brigglett looks to land a left hand but Atlason moved out of range nicely.
Atlason has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
A slow jab from Brigglett misses its intended target.
Atlason smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.


It looks like Dane Brigglett has been cut.
Brigglett tries a low kick but Atlason avoids it.
Nice uppercut there from Atlason.
Dane Brigglett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brigglett takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Atlason uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Brigglett.
We've been told by Brigglett's head coaches at K.O. Koala's that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Atlason looks to land a left hand but Brigglett moved out of range nicely.

Atlason fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brigglett manages to avoid it.

Brigglett gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Atlason.
Brigglett shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Atlason tries a head kick but it misses.

Atlason bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Brigglett misses the shot to the body.
Brigglett missing with a left hand there. Atlason was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Atlason lands the left hand.
Brigglett lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Brigglett throws a hook to the side of Atlason's head but Atlason sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Atlason steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Brigglett.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brigglett moves out of range of the strikes.
Atlason tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Atlason lands with a thumping leg kick.
Atlason feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Briggletts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!


Dane Brigglett's cut is getting worse.

Atlason knocks Brigglett to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?


Brigglett is rocked!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Atlason controls the position.
Oh Brigglett is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The ground and pound from Atlason seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Brigglett is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Brigglett seems to have got his legs back now.

Atlason stands up and beckons Brigglett to his feet.
Brigglett throws a body kick that misses.
Some wild striking there from Brigglett.
Brigglett fails in his attempt to clinch.

Atlason fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Brigglett looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Brigglett throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Brigglett is breathing heavily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Atlason.
Brigglett takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Brigglett chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Atlason can pounce on him.

Atlason scores with a spinning back kick!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Atlason bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Atlason.
Atlason lands a leg kick that knocks Brigglett off balance momentarily.
Atlason lands with a straight right. Brigglett didn't see that one coming.
Atlason digs a good hook to Brigglett's body.

Atlason instigates a clinch.
Atlason putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Brigglett in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

A short right from Atlason.
Still in the clinch, Atlason scores with a nice short uppercut.


Dane Brigglett's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Atlason lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Brigglett backwards.

Brigglett avoiding damage as Atlason throws knees to the body.
Atlason with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Atlason tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Atlason lands a hook that snaps the head of Brigglett backwards.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Atlason creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Brigglett misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Brigglett blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Atlason.
Brigglett misses with some punches.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Atlason lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Brigglett.
Atlason works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Atlason has a couple of punches blocked by Brigglett.
Atlason throws a head punch that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
