PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stewart Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Gudas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunter comes to the cage accompanied by Scotland The Brave. Stewart Hunter had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stewart Hunter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roberto Gudas!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jorge Garcia and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gudas tries to score with a low kick but Hunter moves his leg out of the way.
Gudas feints and then cracks Hunter's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hunter down.
Hunter blocks a head kick by Gudas.

Gudas throws a sloppy head kick and Hunter moves out of range easily.
A head kick from Gudas lands but Hunter takes it in his stride.
Gudas tried to score with a low kick but Hunter checks it.

Gudas has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hunter is working away from the top position though.

That was a close round but I would say that Stewart Hunter will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
