Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali closes the distance and clinches.
Ali tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Ali prevents Clean from breaking the clinch.
Ali tries to work over Clean's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Clean wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ali has him pressed against the cage.

Clean is pressed up against the cage. Ali has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Clean down to the mat. Clean avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Muhammad Ali. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ali uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Clean.
Ali throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Clean's waist but Clean gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ali off to one side.
Clean misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ali shoots in for a takedown but Clean shows good takedown defense.

and Ali moves into the clinch.

Ali wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Ali is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Clean to keep the fight standing.
Ali keeps control of Clean as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Ali is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Clean pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Nice body punch from Ali - that landed with a thud.
Ali really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Clean scores with a nice hook to the head.

Clean prevents a takedown attempt there.
Ali pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A combination from Clean does no damage.
Ali fails with a takedown attempt.
Clean throws a good cross that connects.
Ali dodges the punch combination from Clean.
Clean lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Ali tries a head kick but it misses.
Ali darts in looking for a takedown but Clean gets double underhooks and turns Ali into the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ali breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Ali shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Clean as he avoids it easily.
Ali is breathing heavily.
Ali takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Sloppy strikes from Clean. Those never looked like landing.
Clean throws a right and a left that Ali avoids nicely.
A left lands for Clean.
Clean misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Clean lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Clean with a jab.
Ali throws a nice looking combination but Clean bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A punch combination from Clean misses.
Ali throws a body shot but no joy.
Jab, jab by Clean - just one landing.
Clean paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Clean works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Ali shoots in looking for a takedown but Clean manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ali's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ali moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Clean throws a combination. Ali tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Clean feints a jab promting Ali to slip. Clean then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Ali slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Ali is rocked!
Ali leaves his chin hanging out and Clean seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Ali crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Roberto Clean!
Roberto Clean was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
