The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Omagov darts in trying to clinch
and Volkov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Omagov is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Omagov shoots in looking for a takedown but Volkov manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Omagov's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Omagov throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Volkov tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Omagov is in Volkov's guard.

Volkov gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Volkov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Volkov is pawing at Omagov, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Omagov's nose. Omagov is badly hurt! Volkov pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Omagov tries desperately to hold on but Volkov is relentless in his assault! As Omagov receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Volkov away and this one is in the books!
