The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Troyer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hatzis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hatzis closes this distance looking for a takedown but Troyer circles away.

Hatzis closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Troyer quickly recovers to half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Hatzis is looking to take a break and control but Troyer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
