PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Coath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohamed Jamal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coath kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Enemy by Blue Stahli. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Coath drops Jamal with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jamal looks back up at him and smiles so Coath waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Mohamed Jamal has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Coath loads up on a big right hand but Jamal slips the punch.

Coath clinches.
Jamal is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Coath creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Jamal is rocked!
Coath pushes Jamal against the cage. Coath is working some dirty boxing. Coath pushes off with a quick right hook! Jamal goes down! Jamal tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Coath moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chris Coath!
After winning the bout, Chris Coath thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
