Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clyde Nguyen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Clyde Nguyen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaron Smith!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Alyssa Summers and Columbo Gatti.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nguyen stuffs the takedown attempt from Smith. Smith gets slowly back to his feet.
Nguyen lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Smith has managed to clinch.

Smith has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Nguyen regains guard immediately.

Nguyen is working an open guard so Smith takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Nguyen cracks Smith with an open hand slap.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Smith shoots in but no luck this time.
Smith moves out of range of the strikes.
Nguyen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Smith circles away quickly and effectively.
Nguyen swinging wildly here.
Nguyen ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Smith blocks a jab.
Nguyen connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Smith's hands.
Nguyen lands an overhand right.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nguyen stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Nguyen lands with an uppercut that bounces Smith off the cage and back into range.
Nguyen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nguyen throws a right and a left that both miss.
Nguyen throws a nice looking combination but Smith bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Smith gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Nguyen ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Nguyen throws a right and a left that Smith avoids nicely.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Nguyen, as that shot connected.
Smith on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Smith slips a straight right by Nguyen.
Smith shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nguyen but Nguyen pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Clyde Nguyen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aaron Smith.
Smith looks winded!

Smith moves into the clinch successfully.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Smith keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Nguyen's efforts to push away.
Nguyen is trying to break the clinch but Smith is controlling him.

Smith tries to pull guard but Nguyen forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Nguyen looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Smith wants a takedown but no success here.
Smith fails to pull guard.
Smith keeps control of Nguyen as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Nguyen tries to circle away but Smith has him pinned against the cage.

Smith breaks from the clinch.
A combination from Nguyen does no damage.
Nguyen scores with the left hand. Smith knows he should have avoided that one.
Smith slips a jab and a cross from Nguyen.
Nguyen jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Nguyen scores with a decent looking hook.
Nguyen lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nice jab there from Nguyen.
Clyde Nguyen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nguyen lands an overhand right.
Smith on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Nguyen lands a nice shot that snaps Smith's head back.
Smith has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Smith shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Nguyen lands a head shot.

Smith is rocked!
A decent looking cross lands there for Nguyen.
Smith is still on wobbly legs! Can Nguyen finish him?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nguyen fails to land with a series of punches.
Nguyen looks to land a combination but Smith avoids it well.
Smith walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Smith limp body while Nguyen jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
