The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suroki throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Suroki scores with a hook to the body. Frost takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Frost shoots in and bounces Suroki off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Frost throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Frost trying to control the position from guard on top but Suroki is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Frost is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Frost thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Frost stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Suroki swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Frost wants to lay and pray for a moment but Suroki keeps working.
Frost looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Suroki tries to bench press Frost off him but Frost keeps the position.

Frost is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Suroki has escaped the position, nice work there.
Suroki is letting Frost control him for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Frost wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Suroki, who protects the arm well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Suroki is looking to reverse the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Issac Frost dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Frost shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Suroki napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Frost trying to control the position but Suroki is working away.
Frost has hold of Suroki's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Suroki tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Frost cranks the arm and Suroki screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Suroki, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
