The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhou throws a poor cross that misses

and Freidrichs counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Zhou!
Zhou looks like he's trying to stand up.
Freidrichs takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Freidrichs trying to control the action but Zhou is working from the bottom.
Zhou is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Freidrichs tries to pass to full mount but Zhou defends it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Freidrichs prevents Zhou from improving his position.
Zhou is trying to stand up here but Freidrichs is controlling him well.

Zhou is staying active underneath Freidrichs, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

enabling Freidrichs to counter with a crisp jab.

and Freidrichs counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
