Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Akihiro Shirasu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Brandon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brandon has chosen Life Is Beautiful as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brandon rushes Shirasu and presses him up against the cage.
Shirasu changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Brandon fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Brandon displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Shirasu.

and Shirasu counters with a shoot takedown. Brandon fights it but they end up in guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brandon is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Shirasu is controlling him.

Brandon wants to control the position but Shirasu says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Shirasu thows a huge punch but Brandon dodges it nicely.

Shirasu seems to be looking for submissions.
Shirasu is keen to just control but Brandon is a slippery customer.
Shirasu looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brandon is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Shirasu's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Shirasu's back!

Brandon is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Shirasu won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Brandon off his unconscious opponent!

Junior Brandon gave a mention to Zombie Nutrition in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
