The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendershot tries to clinch up.
Christ tries to land a front kick but Hendershot steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Hendershot has taken the fight to the clinch.
Christ tries to score a body lock takedown but Hendershot shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
We've been hearing reports that Hendershot has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Come on Hendershot - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Hendershot's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Christ swats away the attempt to clinch by Hendershot.
Hendershot is looking to clinch but Christ is avoiding it.

George Christ seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Christ throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Hendershot tries to close the distance and clinch but Christ swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Christ is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Christ thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Hendershot wants to sweep but no luck.

Christ swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
