The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carreon misses with a takedown

and Garcilazo counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Carreon tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Carreon is looking to improve his position.
Carreon has hold of Garcilazo's hands but Garcilazo slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Garcilazo is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Carreon is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

After the fight, Marty Garcilazo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
