The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyka shoots in but Carter avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Carter fails with an attempt to clinch.
Boyka scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Carter moves out of range of the body kick from Boyka.
Carter lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

so Boyka counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Boyka might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Boyka throws a right and a left that Carter avoids nicely.

Boyka is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Carter can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
