Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mountain Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chen Stormstoud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rivera has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Mountain Rivera has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stormstoud looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Rivera gets control of Stormstoud's arms and successfully pulls guard. Rivera will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Stormstoud manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Stormstoud is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Rivera has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Rivera!

Stormstoud is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Rivera is in close to Stormstoud's body, working some short punches and elbows.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Stormstoud working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rivera doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rivera manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That was a close round but I would say that Mountain Rivera will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Rivera manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Stormstoud on his heels. He'll look to pass Stormstoud's guard now, I'm sure.

Stormstoud has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Rivera should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Stormstoud has tightened it up now! Rivera should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
