Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lik Alotadik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alotadik comes into the arena with When Death comes Knocking - Primal Fear blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Lik Alotadik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alotadik swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

and Sanchez counters with a left to the body.

Alotadik throws a nice looking combination but Sanchez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Sanchez scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Alotadik doesn't seem bothered though.

Sanchez lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Sanchez. Alotadik shrugs it off though.
Sanchez stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Sanchez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

We've been told by Alotadik's head coaches at LOD: Gym of the Gods that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Sanchez tries to bum rush Alotadik with a series of wild strikes but Alotadik uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sanchez's jab looks to have found its range, popping Alotadik under the eye.

Alotadik fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sanchez has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Sanchez lands a nice hook to Alotadik's body. Alotadik takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Sanchez lands with a cross.
Sanchez lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Alotadik falls backwards - clearly groggy! Sanchez dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Diego Sanchez!
After winning the bout, Diego Sanchez thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Lik Alotadik spoke after the fight, saying 'That was the worst decision/stoppage I've ever seen! I totally dominated that fight/was just about to reverse it when the damn ref stepped in.'.
