Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kevin Guillard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nick Noisy!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Chris Dean and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guillard fails with an attempt to clinch.
Guillard stuns Noisy with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Guillard tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Noisy looks to throw the jab but Guillard is out of range.
Guillard throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Noisy is defended easily by Guillard.

and Noisy counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Guillard!

Noisy is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Guillard is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Noisy wants to control but Guillard is keeping busy.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Guillard seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

That was a close round but I would say that Kevin Guillard will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Noisy can do anything to dispel that myth.

Noisy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Guillard swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Guillard tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Noisy swivels and escapes.

Guillard lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Noisy circles away quickly and effectively.
Noisy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Guillard tries to avoid it but Noisy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Guillard to the ground. Guillard escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Noisy has taken the fight to the clinch.
Guillard prevents a takedown attempt there.
Noisy is looking to break free of the clinch but Guillard has double underhooks.

Kevin Guillard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Noisy.

Guillard is pushing Noisy up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kevin Guillard will probably get the nod.

Noisy shoots in for a double leg but Guillard sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Noisy drops down looking for an ankle pick but Guillard pulls his leg out and moves away.
Guillard swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Noisy moves in looking to clinch but Guillard pushes him off.
Noisy finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Guillard throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Noisy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Guillard shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Noisy sprawls well. Noisy wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Guillard gets slowly back to his feet.

Noisy closes this distance looking for a takedown but Guillard circles away.

Guillard dives in for a single leg takedown but Noisy sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Noisy jumps guard but Guillard turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Noisy takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Guillard breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Noisy closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Guillard tries to roll over but Noisy keeps him under control.
Noisy is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Guillard is looking for a sweep. Noisy is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Guillard moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Noisy is pressing down on Guillard's thigh, looking to free his foot. Guillard is holding on for now.

Noisy is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Guillard is just riding it out for now. Noisy eventually gives up the hold.

And that's the end of the fight!
Nick Noisy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Guillard has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
