Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Julio Sol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hawkeye Pierce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hawkeye Pierce!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sol shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pierce but Pierce pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sol throws a head kick that misses.
Julio Sol seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sol tries to close the distance and clinch but Pierce swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A jab-cross combination lands for Pierce and sends Sol crashing to the mat! Pierce follows him down to the mat - Sol regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
It looks like Julio Sol has been cut.
Pierce wants to stand up but Sol is controlling the position.
Sol wants to control but Pierce is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Sol is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
Sol is desperately trying to improve his position but Pierce has a good base and remains in mount.
Pierce lands with some strikes.
Pierce cracks Sol with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Sol is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sol is working hard here to advance position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sol manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Sol manages to get to full guard.
Pierce stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Pierce lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Sol falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
