Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ultimate Damage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Split Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damage's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Ysdbj-WzvI. Ultimate Damage has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Ultimate Damage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Split Rush!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Damage dives in and scores a takedown into Rush's guard.
Rush looking to hit a scissor sweep but Damage is one step ahead there.
Rush has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Damage has passed into side control.
Damage controlling from side mount.
Rush is trying to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rush sneaks back into half guard.
Rush wants to improve his position but Damage is controlling well.
Damage thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Damage looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Rush wants to improve his position but Damage is controlling well.

Damage trying to control the action but Rush is working from the bottom.
Rush is trying to control but can't.
Damage is trying to control the action in half guard but Rush is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Damage is thwarting Rush's attempts to control the position.
Damage thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rush's head.
Rush is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Damage is taking a breather. Rush says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Damage shoots in for a takedown but Rush shows good takedown defense.

Damage drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Damage decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Damage has Rush up against the cage in a clinch.
Rush has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Damage is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Damage gets control of Rush's arms and successfully pulls guard. Damage will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Rush got a little sloppy there for a moment and Damage has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rush has managed to get both his arms back between Damage's legs - danger averted.

Damage has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rush can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Rush wants to control from the top but Damage keeps moving.

Rush controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Damage trying to keep a closed guard but Rush is proving a slippery customer.

Rush got a little sloppy there for a moment and Damage has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rush has managed to get both his arms back between Damage's legs - danger averted.
Damage will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Damage keeping moving, preventing Rush from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Damage is trying to control the position but Rush postures up.
Rush really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Damage. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Damage is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ultimate Damage dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Excellent takedown into side control there by Damage.
Rush tries to bench press Damage off him but Damage keeps the position.
Rush sneaks back into half guard.
Rush is looking for a sweep. Damage is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Damage seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Rush wants to improve his position but Damage is controlling well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rush trying to control from the bottom.
Rush has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Damage tries to pass to full mount but Rush defends it.
Damage is taking a breather. Rush says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Rush has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Damage is working away from the top position though.
Rush might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Damage haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Damage wants to take a breather but Rush is having none of it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Rush shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Damage sprawls well. Damage wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rush gets slowly back to his feet.
Rush shoots in and drives through. Damage sprawls well.

Rush gets caught napping as Damage dives in and scores a takedown. Rush manages to retain guard.
Damage passes Rush's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Rush trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Damage content just to control the position here.
Damage lands a big shot there that rocks Rush but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Damage jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Rush manages to avoid the submission attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rush is looking to reverse the position.
Rush looking for a sweep but Damage has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Rush is squirming around, avoiding Damage's attempts to control the action.
Damage postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Rush in real trouble here! The ref calls for Rush to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ultimate Damage!
