Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Takeshi Kurosawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pierluigi Scuderi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kurosawa comes to the cage accompanied by One Mic. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Takeshi Kurosawa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pierluigi Scuderi!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Jonathan Paton and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurosawa misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A head kick misses from Kurosawa.
Scuderi lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Kurosawa has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Soco na mãe - Stand Up Striking in the buildup to the fight.
Scuderi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Donk. Scuderi catches Kurosawa right on the button with a cross.
A slow jab from Scuderi misses its intended target.
Kurosawa throws the kick towards the body but Scuderi avoids it.
Kurosawa throws a push kick but Scuderi slaps the foot to one side.
Nice body kick there by Kurosawa.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Scuderi wants to clinch up but Kurosawa keeps it at a distance.
Scuderi throws a head kick but Kurosawa moves out of range.

Scuderi closes the distance and pushes Kurosawa back into the cage.

Scuderi's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kurosawa defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Scuderi.
Scuderi on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kurosawa. Kurosawa obviously looking to wear him down.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Scuderi has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Kurosawa throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Scuderi throws a jab but it's blocked by Kurosawa.
Kurosawa throws a quick inside leg kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Scuderi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Scuderi throws a series of punches but Kurosawa moves out of range.
Kurosawa misses with a head kick.
Scuderi tries to clinch up but Kurosawa circles away and keeps his distance.

Kurosawa lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Kurosawa lands with a slapping head kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Scuderi loads up on a big right hand but Kurosawa slips the punch.
Scuderi throws a sloppy head kick and Kurosawa moves out of range easily.
A jab from Scuderi misses.
Scuderi takes a kick to the side of the head.
Kurosawa lands with a good body shot.
Scuderi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kurosawa paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Scuderi gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Scuderi breaks from the clinch.
Scuderi closes the distance but Kurosawa moves to the side
and Kurosawa counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Kurosawa keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Whack! Kurosawa lands a heavy head kick that drops Scuderi. The ref tackles Kurosawa to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Scuderi was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Takeshi Kurosawa!
A very excited looking Takeshi Kurosawa made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
