These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lundin tries to land a front kick but Boudain steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Lundin has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Valhalla:NY GYM in the buildup to the fight.
Boudain turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Lundin misses with a straight right.
Boudain throws a nice outside leg kick.
An inside leg kick lands from Boudain.
Boudain dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lundin. That did some damage!
Lundin is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Lundin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Boudain moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lundin stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Boudain.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Boudain connects with a solid leg kick.
Lundin is breathing heavily.
Lundin pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Lundin takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Boudain chopping away at his opponent's legs.
A chopping leg kick lands by Boudain.
Lundin has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Boudain.

Boudain lands a big head kick that sends Lundin tumbling to the mat! Boudain takes a step backwards and waves Lundin back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Mats Lundin has been cut.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Boudain throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Lundin is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
