Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Juha Nimmaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nimmaki manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hunt on his heels. He'll look to pass Hunt's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Nimmaki thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Nimmaki slaps away a takedown attempt from Hunt, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Nimmaki throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Nimmaki tries to clinch up but Hunt circles away and keeps his distance.
Hunt shoots in looking for a takedown but Nimmaki manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hunt's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Nimmaki is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nimmaki passes Hunt's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Nimmaki is nestled in close to Hunt, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Hunt is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Nimmaki pulls his head out easily.
