Avent shoots in and gets a takedown into Bryant's guard.
Avent works a leg free and moves into half guard.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Avent working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Bryant is trying to get back to full guard.
Avent wants to free his trapped foot but Bryant is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Avent wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Bryant uses the opportunity to regain full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bryant has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Avent should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Bryant has tightened it up now! Avent should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
