The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khanom Tom fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Soderberg checks it well.
Soderberg goes for a double leg but Khanom Tom avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Khanom Tom continues to drive forward.

Soderberg blocks a body shot from Khanom Tom .
Khanom Tom is looking to control Soderberg's arms but Soderberg gets an underhook and turns him. Now Khanom Tom has his back to the cage.
Khanom Tom looking to throw knees to the head but Soderberg is blocking nicely.
Soderberg tries to score a body lock takedown but Khanom Tom shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Soderberg tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Khanom Tom just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rufus Soderberg. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Soderberg lands a body shot in the clinch.

Soderberg shoots in looking for a takedown but Khanom Tom manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Soderberg's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Khanom Tom cracks Soderberg with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Khanom Tom connects with a good right hand that stumbles Soderberg. Soderberg circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

A slow jab from Khanom Tom misses its intended target.
Khanom Tom explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Khanom Tom connects with a single shot there.
Khanom Tom dances in with a quick combination. Soderberg is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Khanom Tom snaps Soderberg's head back. Soderberg stumbles backwards against the cage. Khanom Tom steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Soderberg's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Soderberg just didn't come prepared.

During a confident post fight interview, Nai Khanom Tom thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
