Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bentley Downer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lotus Suzinuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
19 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bentley Downer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lotus Suzinuki!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suzinuki bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Downer walks into a straight right hand from Suzinuki.
Downer throws a head kick but Suzinuki moves out of range.
Downer uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Suzinuki.
Downer throws a sloppy head kick and Suzinuki moves out of range easily.
Suzinuki throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Downer throws a head kick but Suzinuki moves out of range.
Suzinuki ducks under a wild hook from Downer.
Suzinuki moves away from the strike by Downer.
A leg kick checked by Suzinuki.
Downer tries to clinch up.
A big right from Suzinuki misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Downer crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Suzinuki - the referee stops the clock and Downer gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Suzinuki. Downer manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Suzinuki looks for the body kick but Downer saw that one coming.
Downer swings widly with a right hand
and Suzinuki counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Downer down! Suzinuki is looking to finish but Downer is intelligently defending himself.
Downer is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Suzinuki is looking to work some ground and pound but Downer has wrist control.
Oh Downer is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Suzinuki arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Downer's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Lotus Suzinuki!
Lotus Suzinuki took some time post fight to say the following; 'Holm is nothing but a ponce, screw you Corporation, I spit on you losers.'.
