Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Valentin Hadjiev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Long Wang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valentin Hadjiev has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Valentin Hadjiev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Long Wang!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Josh West.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hadjiev misses with a takedown attempt

and Wang moves into the clinch.
Wang prevents a takedown attempt there.
Hadjiev wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Valentin Hadjiev. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wang scores with a shoulder strike.
Wang avoiding damage.
Hadjiev blocks a body shot from Wang.
Wang lands with a right to the head.
Hadjiev is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Wang pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Wang misses with a knee to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wang breaks from the clinch.

Wang clinches up with Hadjiev and pushes him back against the cage.
Wang gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hadjiev.

Wang is trying to trip Hadjiev. He has hold of a leg but Hadjiev is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Wang persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Wang is looking to work some ground and pound but Hadjiev has wrist control.
Wang advances position into side control!
Wang cracks Hadjiev with a big right hand but Hadjiev just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Hadjiev is trying to get back to his feet.
Hadjiev tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Wang trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

Wang is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Hadjiev defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Wang looking to break Hadjiev's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Hadjiev remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Wang will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Wang is persistently looking for the submission but Hadjiev is defending it well.
Hadjiev is trying to stand back up.
Hadjiev is taking damage to the body and head.
Wang lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Wang is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Hadjiev is tapping out! This one is all over!
