Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Amelie Poulain!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poulain throws out a loose jab but Brahe uses good head movement to avoid it.
Poulain tries to land a front kick but Brahe steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Brahe throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Poulain walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
It looks like Amelie Poulain has been cut.
Poulain takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Poulain moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Brahe with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A solid leg kick lands there for Brahe.
Brahe walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Poulain checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Poulain gets the takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brahe tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Poulain takes a little break here. Brahe wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

It looks like Tycho Brahe has been cut.
Brahe's coaches at Hilo Training Center have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Poulain is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Brahe is trying to control Poulain's posture but Poulain avoids it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brahe stops Poulain from passing to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Poulain throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Brahe is trying to get back to half guard.
Brahe is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Poulain off and has taken his back!

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Poulain tries to escape but Brahe has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Brahe is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Brahe tries to get the hooks in deep but Poulain pushed the leg off.

Poulain is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Brahe.

Brahe cracks Poulain with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Brahe is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Poulain can do to turn this around?

Poulain stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Brahe.
The fighters circling - Poulain throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Poulain distracts Brahe with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Brahe wants to improve his position but instead Poulain has moved into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Poulain is looking to advance position but Brahe won't allow it.
Brahe is looking for a sweep. Poulain is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Poulain is trying to control. Brahe wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Poulain throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Brahe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Poulain on the ground.
Poulain is taking a breather. Brahe says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Brahe wants to get back to full guard but Poulain has passed into side control.
Brahe is letting Poulain control him for a moment.

Brahe is trying to control Poulain's posture but Poulain avoids it.

Poulain throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Poulain scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Brahe to see if he's OK.
