Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Turgeon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Test Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Guy gets tackled into the cage by Turgeon. Turgeon maintains the clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Turgeon fails to land.
Guy blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Turgeon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Guy looks to score with a jab to the body but Turgeon is just out of range.
Guy showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Turgeon.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Turgeon tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Turgeon's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Turgeon pulls Guy into guard.
Turgeon on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Turgeon tries to get out of the position.
Turgeon is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Guy trying to control the position from guard on top but Turgeon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Guy moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

It looks like Daniel Turgeon has been cut.
Guy swings for the body but Turgeon moves out of range.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Turgeon.

Guy stuffs the takedown attempt from Turgeon. Turgeon gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Turgeon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Turgeon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Guy as he avoids it easily.
Test Guy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Turgeon throws a push kick but Guy slaps the foot to one side.
Guy checks the leg kick.
Guy looks to land a left hand but Turgeon moved out of range nicely.
Turgeon blocks a head kick by Guy.
The fight stays on the outside here - Turgeon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Turgeon instigates a clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Guy is looking to control Turgeon's arms but Turgeon gets an underhook and turns him. Now Guy has his back to the cage.

Turgeon lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Turgeon has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Guy is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Turgeon goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Turgeon misses with a body punch.
Guy prevents the takedown attempt.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Turgeon manages to break the clinch.
Turgeon blocks a jab.
Turgeon doesn't manage to clinch there - Guy circles away.
Turgeon takes a swing at Guy's ribcage but misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Turgeon shoots in for a double leg but Guy sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Nice takedown defense from Guy. No joy for Turgeon on that attempt.
Turgeon looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Turgeon is breathing heavily.
Guy throws a hook but Turgeon blocks it.
Turgeon could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Turgeon steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Guy.
Turgeon shoots in for a takedown but Guy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Turgeon tries to clinch but Guy is having none of it.
Guy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Turgeon slips a straight right by Guy.
Turgeon keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Guy throws a hook but Turgeon avoids it easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Guy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Turgeon takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Turgeon clinches with his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Daniel Turgeon will probably get the nod.

Turgeon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Turgeon clinches.
Turgeon is trying to drag Guy to the mat but Guy just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Turgeon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Guy misses with a hook.
Nice body punch from Guy.
Guy lands a jab to the nose.
Test Guy seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Turgeon wants to clinch up but Guy keeps it at a distance.
Guy is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Turgeon throws a right hand that Guy ducks under and follows up with a left that Guy also avoids with ease.
Turgeon walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Guy with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Guy connects with a superb combination that knocks Turgeon out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Guy before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Turgeon!
