Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Don Bradman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Selfrid Bergman!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bradman is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Bradman moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Bergman misses with a right hand
and Bradman counters with a good low kick that Bergman was not able to check.
Bradman steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bergman.
Selfrid Bergman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bradman keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.


It looks like Selfrid Bergman has been cut.
Bradman motions for Bergman to come forward. Bradman throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Bergman dives in for a single leg takedown but Bradman sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Bradman feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Bergman sprawling to the canvas! Bergman rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bradman finish him?!

Bergman lands a really nice looking cross but Bradman seems unphased.

Bergman closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bergman lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bergman pushes down on Bradman's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Bradman is in trouble now - Bergman has advanced to mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bradman thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Bergman if he has to take too many more of those.

Bergman feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bergman manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Bergman has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bradman is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Bergman goes for a takedown attempt but Bradman pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Selfrid Bergman's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Bradman takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bradman's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Selfrid Bergman.
I think Bradman has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
