Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oisin O Conghaile (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinichi Onizuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think O Conghaile might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Deer's Cry by Angelina. Onizuka has chosen Nate Dogg - First We Pray as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Onizuka throws a shot from downtown. O Conghaile moves away and avoids it.

It looks like Oisin O Conghaile has been cut.
Onizuka has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as O Conghaile is landing a low percentage of strikes.
O Conghaile shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Onizuka feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits O Conghailes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as O Conghaile takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

O Conghaile takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
O Conghaile does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
O Conghaile tried to score with a low kick but Onizuka checks it.
Onizuka lands with a hook. O Conghaile tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Onizuka takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Onizuka looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Onizuka seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but O Conghaile does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Shinichi Onizuka is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
O Conghaile is looking to control Onizuka's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can O Conghaile avoid being mounted?

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
O Conghaile tries to kick Onizuka off but Onizuka keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
O Conghaile is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at The Jungle Elite MMA, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
