The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Saint is defended easily by Vaughan.

Vaughan manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Saint on his heels. He'll look to pass Saint's guard now, I'm sure.

Vaughan postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Vaughan throws a strike but Saint rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Vaughan has control of Saint's left arm, preventing Saint from doing any damage.
Saint is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Vaughan is trying to keep Saint in close.
Vaughan is really struggling to control Saint but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Kevin Vaughan has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Saint throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Saint gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Vaughan breaks from the clinch.
Vaughan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Saint avoids it really well and circles away.
Saint is trying hard to land a takedown here. Vaughan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Vaughan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Saint lands a left and a right that send Vaughan crashing to the mat, dazed. Saint thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Kevin Vaughan has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oh Vaughan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Saint throws a right hand that Vaughan ducks under and follows up with a left that Vaughan also avoids with ease.

BOOM! Saint lands a beautiful left hook that drops Vaughan. Vaughan tries to recover but Saint is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Vaughan lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
