The crowd seem to be enjoying St Pierre's choice of entrance music: Mornier 4 Life by Imposs. The key to victory for Drake Redflame has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redflame scores with a nice body kick.
Redflame tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

St Pierre shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. St Pierre showed some decent athleticism there.

St Pierre is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

and St Pierre holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Redflame is fighting off a takedown attempt but St Pierre is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Redflame to the mat. Redflame regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

George St Pierre showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
